This was published in The Times Herald, and it's about a group of people that are taking the bull by the horns.

Cheney, Do me a favor and shut the hell up.

Fri Mar 02, 2007 at 03:38:05 PM PDT

I don't give a shit if any other diarist has written about this! Strong
words you say? Well I am totally pissed at this guy, and I'm not going to take it anymore. How dare he tell my elected officials what to do and not do. Elected Democrats that we put in charge to change the course of this dog and pony show they call "The war on Terror."

Who's telling this man that he still has a set of balls to make such outrageous statements about my elected officials.
Now we hear about a new plan that the Dems have come up with. What's the matter Dems, did big bad Dickhead scare you?

Ah yes, another failed chapter of Bush's foreign policy.

"PRESIDENTS OF VENEZUELA, IRAN STRIKE UP FRIENDSHIP"

"The Presidents of Iran and Venezuela pledged Saturday to support one another in disputes with the United States.
The only question now I worry about, is which one of these coalitions will attack us first. Change the page!

Congress could sue Bush under Specter's new bill

Mon Jul 24, 2006 at 06:16:18 PM PDT

I just read this off of news service, I backtracked to see if it had been diaried yet, didn't find anything. Arlen Specter has said he will introduce a bill by the end of the week to challenge Bush's power on signing statements. Pres. Bush has included signing statements on over 800 bills. The American Bar Association also today issued a report, that states these signing statements are against The Constitution.

You can never have too many bunnies, part 1

Fri Jul 21, 2006 at 10:03:42 PM PDT

This is just a small part of the journey we took to keep our three grandchildren safe. Our son and daughter-in-law,gave us our first grandson. She then became pregnant with twins. The family independent agency became involved when their son was eight months old. The physical and emotional abuse from this lady towards myself, my family and their baby was horrendous. Leaving the baby in the bathtub alone, (caught on tape)trying to smother him, with her hand,( we witnessed and stopped her), not giving him prescribed medicine for sickness(she said boys die anyways)Join me on the flip, please.

A war based on lies that continue on and on

Fri Jun 09, 2006 at 10:25:01 PM PDT

This administration opened the door and welcomed in the likes of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. They created this man.  By their actions, they created numerous reactions, including Zarqawi. Reactions that included "beheading, suicide bombings, and indiscriminate killings."

This quote from AP:Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld also tried to put it in context saying, "Arguably over the last several years, no single person on this planet has had the blood

Please cut me some slack ,news media

Thu May 04, 2006 at 08:47:37 AM PDT

I don't ask for much, as a matter of fact I don't expect alot from anyone.Soooooo, why can't anyone in the news media cut me some slack. I work  all day, I'm lucky if I can sit down by seven at night. So Tues., I sit down, flip the channels. On Hardball, there is two former CIA agents, giving answers to Chris's hard questions. I mean these guys were basically calling our President a lier-in-chief, who manipulated intelligence to prove his case to go to war. Before we invaded Irag, these guys were telling Chris, that the president had absolute, authenticated evidence that Irag had no WMD's and no Chemical Weapons.

This story appeared in the Detroit News:

Scott MCclellan

Thu Mar 16, 2006 at 10:42:22 AM PDT

I watched the press conference today. It's so interesting how Scott has learned how to spin a lie. Most of the questions we would ask, were asked, with Scott as usuasl lieing through his teeth. A press person asked him, if this new operation would lift the President's poll numbers, to which Scott answered, the generals make these decisions.

The reason Bush and Republicans keep winning

Tue Feb 28, 2006 at 03:38:49 PM PDT

Yesterday our paper reported, that hundreds of people who voted in the last election, were actually deceased, at the time they voted. The paper stated, that it wasn't clear if these people that voted were using the deceased name. Wouldn't  this make sense? The only other reason, would be that these deceased people actually voted.

Bush's Legacy,A day late and a dollar short

Fri Feb 24, 2006 at 07:53:35 PM PDT

In the planning stages, only the top elite of the world were invited. They made all their choices wisely or so they thought. They hand picked the best of the best. When they sat down, they knew who they wanted for every position. They worked long into the night. If they saw a road block to a person they wanted appointed , they removed that road block, legally or illegally,it didn't matter to them.

Totally disgusted this morning

Sat Feb 18, 2006 at 08:33:35 AM PDT

What the hell is going on in this country? How can Attorney General Gonzales refuse to recluse himself from the Abramhoff investigation? Gonzales was Bush's attorney, for Christ sakes. My family is of Mexican descendents. I am totally disgusted with this Uncle Tom. In a statement defending Gonzales's decision, it was reported "how can Mr. Gonzales know any of the people involved in this?" Give me a break.

Life goes on

Wed Feb 15, 2006 at 03:28:46 PM PDT

Today in America. The Senate is talking about the Patriot Act. An invasion of our private lives. Hearings are going on into Katrina recovery misteps. You know nothing will come of these hearings.
VP Cheney is doing an interview with "yo're not heavy, yo're my brother Britt Hume. A classical case of this administration's b.s.

DeLay gets key commitee posts

Thu Feb 09, 2006 at 03:57:54 PM PDT

I got this story out of the newspaper, this is ridiculous.
I couldn't believe it when I read it. It seems to me, that its impossible that things like this keep happening.

Under the headline:" DeLay gets key committee posts:

Washington-- Indicted Rep. Tom DeLay, forced to step down as the No.2 Republican in the House, scored a soft landing Wednesday when GOP leaders rewarded him with a coveted seat on the Appropriations Committee.
